How do I cite data collections from Discuss Data?

Discuss Data automatically assigns a standard citation, derived from the metadata description, and an automatically generated and permanent DOI (Digital Object Identifier) to each data set. The DOI ensures that even if the location of the data changes, the DOI will always link to the data that were used.

When using a data collection, the data source should be cited correctly. Every published dataset receives a standard citation that can be copied and used for citation. Also, the citation can be exported for popular reference management tools (such as EndNote, BibTeX etc.) .

Any publication, whether printed, electronic or broadcast, based wholly or in part on a dataset provided by Discuss Data, must be accompanied by the correct citation and acknowledgement information.
