Description
"Opinions and Views of the Population of Ukraine" is a regular omnibus survey, conducted by Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) among Ukraine's adult population and covering a wide range of topics. The data presented here is a subset of the survey conducted in September-October 2025 and includes KIIS's own research questions.
Topics covered by the survey include:
• Readiness for territorial concessions for peace;
• Trust in Volodymyr Zelenskyy;
• Expectations for Zelenskyy and Poroshenko's post-war roles;
• Perceptions of anti-corruption efforts in Ukraine;
• Attitudes toward criticism of the government;
• Perceptions of the policies of the Europe and the United States toward Ukraine in the context of the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war;
• Perceptions of Ukraine's future in 10 years;
• Perceptions of Ukrainian society's unity;
• Attitudes toward selected groups of Ukrainian citizens (refugees, internally displaced persons, residents of occupied territories, groups defined by language and ethnicity);
• Inter-ethnic prejudice;
• Historical memory: attitudes toward OUN–UPA.
Data collection took place from 19 September to 5 October 2025.
The full sample included 2,015 respondents, divided into subsamples for individual questions.
The data is available in an SAV format (Ukrainian, English) and a converted CSV format (with a codebook).
The Data Documentation includes a short overview and discussion of survey results (with frequency tables in Annex 1) as well as the relevant parts of the original questionnaire in Ukrainian (Annex 2).
