Description

Media survey in Georgia was conducted by Caucasus Research Resource Centers (CRRC) in 2009 and 2011. It investigated public views and preferences on the media sources and assessed political pluralism of media sources and perceived impartiality of journalists and media managers

Population: Adults (18 years old and over), excluding the populations living in territories affected by military conflict (South Ossetia and Abkhazia).

Sample Design: Multi-stage cluster sampling with preliminary stratification.

Sample Size in 2009: 1767 respondents.
Sample Size in 2011: 2009 respondents.

Response rate in 2009: 64%.
Response rate in 2011: 78%.

Survey mode: Face-to-face paper-and-pencil interview (PAPI).

Interview languages: Georgian.

Fieldwork Dates in 2009: October 1, 2009 to October 16, 2009.
Fieldwork Dates in 2011: March 30, 2011 to April 11, 2011.

Results are weighted.
