Description

This dataset comprises data from a series of public opinion surveys conducted by the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation in cooperation with the Centre for Political Sociology and the Razumkov Centre sociological service between May 2022 and December 2024. In total, the dataset includes eight nationwide public opinion surveys, with a combined sample of 14,598 adult respondents.

The dataset contains survey questions aimed at measuring the Ukrainian population’s belief in victory in the Russo-Ukrainian war, their definitions of victory, expectations regarding its timing, and willingness to accept compromises to achieve peace. In addition, key socio-demographic characteristics of respondents are included: gender, age, macro-region of residence, type of settlement, education level, and financial situation.

The dataset is provided in merged form, covering all eight surveys conducted between 2022 and 2024, and is available in SPSS format (.sav). An equivalent version has been exported to Excel (.xlsx); its contents are identical to those of the original SAV file. The methodology for all included surveys, along with the questionnaire, is presented in the accompanying "Documentation" (PDF file) in both English and Ukrainian.
