Description

The UCDP Georeferenced Event Dataset (GED) is a spatially and temporally disaggregated dataset on fatal events from three types of organized violence (state-based conflict, non-state conflict, and one-sided violence) that occurred between 1 January 1989 and 31 December 2024. It is released annually by the Uppsala Conflict Data Program (UCDP) and covers the entire globe, including information such as the date, geolocation, and estimated number of casualties. Its aim is to provide the most comprehensive and systematically structured data on organized violence worldwide since 1989.
