This data documentation describes a dataset of six semi-structured interviews conducted by the author in June–July 2022 in the cities of Astana and Almaty with representatives of state, international, and civil society organizations working in healthcare in the Republic of Kazakhstan. A particular emphasis was made on reaching out to stakeholders directly involved in the digitalization process of healthcare and those working with health information systems. This document outlines the context and data collection process, as well as the issues and opportunities encountered during the data collection process. It also enlists the interviews conducted in the two cities and the questionnaire.
