Description
The EU funded project ”Georgian Civil Society Sustainability Initiative” (CSSIGE) aims at improving the operational environment for civil society in Georgia, empowering and increasing the accountability of CSOs towards constituencies and strengthening their linkages towards other actors. The nationwide public opinion survey aims to study public attitudes towards CSOs, their values and activities, the CSR-concept and cooperation between private and civil sectors, and EU integration and Association Agreement.
Population: Adult population (18 years old and over), excluding the populations living in territories affected by military conflict (South Ossetia and Abkhazia). Besides nationwide, data is representative of Tbilisi, large urban, small urban, rural areas of Georgia and minority settlements.
Sample Design: Multi-stage cluster sampling with preliminary stratification.
Sample Size: 2,853 respondents.
Response rate: 50%
Survey mode: Computer-assisted personal interview (CAPI).
Interview languages: Georgian, Armenian, and Azerbaijani.
Fieldwork Dates: October 27, 2017 to November 19, 2017.
Results are weighted.
